I’m Daniel Raimi, Associate in Research at the Duke University Energy Initiative. This blog will document my travels to some of the most active oil and gas development regions in the United States. While traveling, I’ll be interviewing public officials with experience in public finance issues associated with oil and gas development in and around their particular state, county, township, or city.
Along the way, I’ll post on this blog observations, photos, and data examining how energy development has affected these governments and communities. Look for new posts roughly once a week and contact me with any comments or questions.
