After 11 years at the helm of RFF, Phil Sharp retired as its president yesterday. The institution has benefited greatly from his leadership and wisdom. He will be missed here and we all wish him well as he gets ready to share his extensive knowledge and experience with students at Columbia University. They are in for a treat. Linda J. Fisher, vice chair of RFF’s Board of Directors, will serve as RFF’s interim president until the arrival of President-elect Richard Newell on September 1.
