We’ve previously talked about Resources for the Future’s two-year research project on climate change adaptation in the United States, Reforming Institutions and Managing Extremes. However, while the U.S. is facing the effects of climate change, developing countries are more at risk.
For a perspective on what is needed to address global climate adaptation, RFF Center Fellow Danny Morris interviewed Mohamed El-Ashry, RFF board member and retired CEO and chairman of the Global Environment Facility, on climate adaptation outside the U.S., including how international negotiations and institutions can better assist local communities in climate change adaptation.
Video from the interview is below and the transcript can be found in the new edition of Resources magazine.
