The US Environmental Protection Agency is expected to soon issue a much-anticipated regulation to limit greenhouse gas emissions from cars and light-duty trucks. The rule, which likely will help increase sales of electric vehicles over the next five to seven years, may have implications for vehicle buyers and manufacturers.
