Researchers in RFF’s Center for Energy Economics and Policy (CEEP) have been leading a multi-faceted initiative—Managing the Risks of Shale Gas Development—that, to date, includes surveys of experts and the public to identify priority risks, analyses of some of these risks, and an assessment of regulatory frameworks at the state level.
